Environmental educator Carla Vitez will lead a unique tour through the Van Landingham Glen from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 20.
After meeting at the McMillan Greenhouse, participants will visit the glen, where Vitez will focus her talk on eight majestic native trees. Through the poetic words of naturalist Donald Peattie and Vitez’s interpretation, attendees will enjoy the blend of botany, history and human connections to these forest icons.
Free and open to the public, but limited to 20. To reserve a spot, email Paula at email@example.com.
