  • Day of Remembrance: The University will honor the lives of Reed Parlier and Riley Howell and recognize the strength of our survivors at 8:30 a.m., tomorrow, Tuesday, April 30, with a wreath laying and bell ringing at the memorial.
  • Yvette M. Huet is now the executive director for the Center for ADVANCing Faculty Success.
  • Reminder: SHRA supervisor appraisals are due tomorrow, Tuesday, April 30.
  • May is almost here! Sharpen your skills by learning more about Zoom phone, Google Workspace, Google Storage and more; register now for May OneIT training sessions.
  • All Kaltura videos in Canvas are going away Wednesday, May 15. Act now to ensure videos you want to keep are migrated to your Canvas Studio Library. Click here if you need to migrate videos manually.

Career Center clothes closet

The University Career Center operates a professional clothing closet where students can select professional attire needed for an interview, career fair, networking event or everyday work. Students can visit the closet during drop-in hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Graduation pictures needed: We want to celebrate with you by sharing your success and accomplishments. Submit a photo of you in (or with) your cap and gown, and you could be featured in this year’s Commencement pre-show.
  • Reminder: The use of confetti is discouraged on campus when taking photos. Leaving confetti behind is littering and causes stress on our environment and our staff. We encourage you to celebrate. You’ve earned it; please just be mindful.
  • Apply to join the Student Union Advisory Board for the 2024-25 academic year. The board determines the role of the Popp Martin Student Union in the life of the campus and how the building is operated.
  • The Healthy 49ers wellness app is a resource for students. Use the app to set and track health and well-being goals, specifically for sleep, stress management, nutrition, movement/exercise and connection. The app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
  • Registration for new student organizations is now available. Information and the steps to start a new student organization can be found on the student organizations website.
