Sweet! Understand honey bee behavior in 49 seconds
Dining Services, in collaboration with faculty in the departments of Biological Sciences and Geography and Earth Sciences, recently built an on-campus home for a new honey bee colony. The colony will provide a hands-on research environment, help to pollinate flowers across campus and, one day, will provide honey for catering events and on-campus teaching kitchens.

- 4/23: The Department of Dance presents a virtual dance concert, featuring student performers in works by faculty choreographers E.E. Balcos, Audrey Baran, Marissa Nesbit and Delia Neil. This blend of dance-for-camera video and filmed site-specific and staged dance pieces will be streamed via Vimeo.

- 4/27: UNC Charlotte's popular Professional Webinar Series returns. These free webinars will cover topics such as becoming a more dynamic leader, building a competitive advantage and using radical candor to drive results.
- 4/28: Film Screen with a Dean: Atkins Library Dean Anne Cooper Moore invites you to a virtual panel discussion on “Wilmington on Fire,” a feature-length documentary directed by Christopher Everett that chronicles the Wilmington massacre of 1898. Registration is required for this event, scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 28.
