UNC Charlotte SGA unveiled Black Lives Matter mural on campus

Early-career researchers help drive UNC Charlotte's reputation

Last week, the UNC Charlotte Student Government Association and several dedicated College of Arts + Architecture students unveiled a Black Lives Matter mural on campus with Chancellor Gaber speaking.

  • Dr. Akinwumi Ogundiran receives First Citizens Bank Medal: Dr. Akinwumi Ogundiran, a Chancellor’s Professor and professor of Africana Studies, anthropology and history, is the 2021 recipient of the First Citizens Bank Scholars Medal, UNC Charlotte’s most prestigious faculty award.
