COVID-19 caused Chartwells, UNC Charlotte’s food services partner, to adjust dining operations in ways that have gone far beyond droplet protection, serving practices and distancing protocols.

  • City Building Lab director receives grant for community design workshops: Nadia Anderson, associate professor of architecture and urban design and director of the City Building Lab, has been approved for a $25,000 “Grants for Arts Projects” award from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to support neighborhood visioning workshops.
  • Reimagining Intercultural Learning features UNC Charlotte team: Four members of UNC Charlotte's Phi Beta Delta international honor society will co-present "Mining a Global Learning Ecosystem to Support Intercultural Development" at the WISE: Connect 2021 conference.
