A Revolution

The Data Revolution

So what is data science and why should we care? At its core, data science involves using automated methods to analyze massive amounts of data to extract knowledge. And it’s one of the fastest-growing industries in tech right now. In fact, the Harvard Business Review referred to it as “the sexiest job of the 21st century.” Yet it remains one of the toughest jobs to fill. Projections indicate that by 2020, there may be a shortage of 100,000 data scientists.
