Five Cool Things: November 2016

  1. Girl Power: Women’s sports have a lot to celebrate at UNC Charlotte. First, women’s soccer clinched the Conference USA championship – for the third time. Second, the 13th annual Let Me Play luncheon, benefiting women’s sports scholarships, raised $208,000. Play on!

  2. Home Sweet HomeThe iconic bronze statue “49er Miner,” has a new home – the plaza between the Cato College of Education and the College of Health and Human Services. The move, led by students, allows greater access to one of the campus’ most beloved and prized photo opps.
