Brittany Davis, a marketing assistant and graphic designer for the Student Union, Activities and Recreation Department, was recognized at the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) conference held earlier this month.

Davis received second place in the promotional campaigns category for “Closeout Basketball Homecoming” campaign. She also took third place and honorable mention in the T-shirts category for “A Better U” and “Niner DomiNation” designs.

“We’re excited to be recognized nationally amongst other student unions and centers,” said Lyndsay Richter, SUAR marketing director. “Brittany’s talent and dedication is evident in her day-to-day contributions to University life, and it’s an honor to receive such distinction.”

Davis graduated from North Carolina State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design and a minor in graphic design and Africana studies. Since then, she has taken classes at UNC Charlotte in business and communication studies. She is currently pursuing an online Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

The ACUI is a nonprofit educational organization that brings together college union and student activities professionals from hundreds of schools in seven countries.
