A UNC Charlotte freshman, Josh Helm, died Sunday, March 23, after a fall from the seventh floor of Moore Hall, a 12-story residence facility in South Village.
UNC Charlotte Police and Public Safety responded to the incident, which is still under investigation.
John Bland, director of public relations, stated the death did not appear to be from foul play.
More than 130 staff and faculty members attended a March 18 “town hall” meeting to discuss the latest moves toward completing an Information Technology Master Plan for UNC Charlotte.
