The College of Arts + Architecture’s Digital Arts Center will present the interactive sound-space performance of Morton Feldman’s “Crippled Symmetry” at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the Storrs Building Salon.

In naming Dubois, the publication cited the chancellor’s advocacy of the Energy Production and Infrastructure Center.
For the February edition of the TV magazine “Inside UNC Charlotte,” there will be a segment on the Martha Graham Dance Company, one of the most revered ensembles in the world. The College of Arts + Architecture hosted the company in its first appearance in the Queen City in 30 years.
The student-led 49ers for Life blood drive, held earlier this month, was a record-setting event with 887 units collected for the American Red Cross. In 2012, the drive yielded 871 units. The number of individuals who signed up to donate also increased from 930 to 970.
The Charlotte 49ers will hold the second annual football signing day Chalk Talk reception at 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center Salons. Admission is $20 per person; advanced registration is required by calling the Charlotte 49ers Athletic Foundation at 704-687-1049.
This past fall, the Student Government Association spearheaded the annual Campus Safety Walk, which involves University leaders and students reviewing the campus.
The Extended Academic Programs unit recently received Quality Standards Certification from the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA). The certification recognizes the unit’s commitment to provide quality service to the University’s distance education students.
