Programs for Professionals

UNC Charlotte’s part-time academic programs offer working professionals educational opportunities and enhanced credentials in more than 120 focused areas of study. This summer, the University seeks to increase awareness of these programs through a new marketing campaign, “Invest in You.”

“Whether students want to test the academic waters through a graduate certificate, take a professional development course online, or commit to a graduate degree like an MBA, obtaining specialized training in a particular area can help advance their career,” said Lisa Meckley, senior director for strategic marketing.

Working in collaboration with the academic colleges, the Graduate School, the Teaching and Learning Connection and agency partner FuseIdeas, University Communications implemented the campaign in an effort to promote UNC Charlotte's 120-plus part-time programs that can be completed by students who hold full-time jobs. The ads direct interested students to professional.uncc.edu where they can search available programs, explore requirements, or contact program directors and enrollment specialists for specific information.

The campaign, which began May 24 and runs through August 18, includes billboards in and around Uptown and the greater Charlotte area, targeted digital advertisements, social media ads, and Google search promotion, all aiming to raise awareness of UNC Charlotte’s depth and breadth of programs for working professionals.
