Charlotte 49ers head football coach Will Healy has named former NCAA Division II National Coach of the Year Pete Rossomando as offensive line coach.

“Pete is a builder. I love that,” Healy said. “He’s been a part of program building as a head coach, an offensive coordinator and a line coach. His experience will be a huge asset for us as we continue to grow our culture and program.”

“I’m excited to join Coach Healy on the continued rise of the Charlotte football program,” said Rossomando. “It’s a great city, a great university and a great football program.”

Rossomando, who spent 10 years as a head coach at Central Connecticut State and New Haven, was offensive line coach at Vanderbilt and Rutgers over the last two years.

He comes to Charlotte from Vanderbilt, where he spent the 2020 season as offensive line coach. He was offensive line coach at Rutgers in 2019.
