UNC Charlotte Highlight/Favorite Memory: Successfully presenting my research to the Center for Precision Metrology affiliate members and receiving positive feedback

Campus Connections: I was a graduate research assistant for the Center for Precision Metrology, a student member for the American Society for Precision Engineering and the Society of Women Engineers.

Professor who made a difference: Dr. Konstantinos Falaggis; he was my advisor and professor and taught me about the field of optical metrology as well as research and development practices. He’s provided valuable experience that I can take with me throughout my career.

Internships: I interned last summer remotely with the Air Force Research Laboratory through the Universities Space Research Association. It allowed me to gain practical experience in the defense industry as well as learn new computer science and machine learning applications. 

Post-graduation plans: I plan to work in my home state of Michigan in optical metrology or a related field. I’m excited to use my experience at UNC Charlotte to work hard and advance my career.
