The UNC Charlotte Young Alumni Chapter is holding a Veterans Day supply drive through Sunday, Nov. 15, to support deployed members of the United States Armed Forces.
Suggested items include books and magazines, wet wipes, sunscreen, deodorant, AA and AAA batteries, travel-size toiletries, Chapstick, Tide PODS, puzzle books, cards and board games and nonperishable snacks. Collection bins are located at the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen.
An Amazon wish list has been created for those who prefer to shop online. Items purchased from Amazon will be shipped directly to Courtney Hunt, president of the Young Alumni Chapter.
The mission of the UNC Charlotte Young Alumni Chapter is to encourage active participation in the life of UNC Charlotte through networking, social events and connecting with current UNC Charlotte seniors.
