On Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., the Veteran Services Office will host a virtual remembrance ceremony live from Veterans Park.
“Please join us as we take a moment out of the day to remember veterans from the state of North Carolina that have passed recently,” said Bill Wilson, director of the Veteran Services Office.
Those who wish to attend the virtual celebration can join via Zoom.
Veterans Park opened on Veterans Day in 2019 as a place on campus to recognize UNC Charlotte’s historical connections to veteran students and to honor all past, present and future veterans who will attend or work at the University.
