As part of its accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), the UNC Charlotte Department of Police and Public Safety (PPS) must undergo an assessment every four years. PPS first earned this international distinction in 2016 and is currently undergoing its first review cycle.
As part of this process, students, staff and faculty are invited to participate by providing feedback to the accreditors. A call-in session with CALEA representatives will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 23.
