The College of Computing and Informatics and Office of Continuing Education are sponsoring the free webinar, “Understanding the Science Behind the Pandemic,” at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 11.
Daniel Janies, the Carol Grotnes Belk Distinguished Professor of Bioinformatics and Genomics, and Denis Jacob Machado, a bioinformatics postdoctoral researcher, will talk about the history and evolution of COVID-19, the current state of the pandemic and what to expect going forward.
