International Education Week set for Nov. 18-22

The Office of International Programs, in collaboration with campus partners, hosts the annual UNC Charlotte International Education Week (IEW) observance Monday, Nov. 18, through Friday, Nov. 22.

This annual showcase is designed to highlight the role universities play in shaping global awareness and understanding.

A kickoff parade is scheduled for 4 p.m., Nov. 18, in Cato Hall and the Popp Martin Student Union.

Hadia Mubarak, assistant professor of religious studies at Guilford College, will give the IEW keynote lecture, “Muslim Diversity, Global Cultures, Practices and Interpretations,” at 6:30 p.m., Nov. 20, in the College of Health and Human Services, Room 155.
