The Sept. 28 football game against Florida Atlantic University will be Homecoming, and the Nov. 2 game against Middle Tennessee State University will be Family Weekend.
The 49ers will feature the following theme days during the 2019 football season:
- Aug. 31 vs. Gardner-Webb - Scout Day
- Sept. 14 vs. UMass - Spirit Day, Wellness Day
- Sept. 28 vs. Florida Atlantic - Homecoming
- Oct. 26 vs. North Texas – Health Care Appreciation Day, Band Day
- Nov. 2 vs. Middle Tennessee - Family Weekend, Military Appreciation Day
- Nov. 23 vs. Marshall - Youth Sports Day, Teacher Appreciation Day
