The Dean of Students Office is seeking nominations for the following awards: Chancellor’s Citations for Leadership and Service, Bonnie Cone Leadership, Noble Niner, Chuck Lynch and Derrick Griffith Servant Leader Award.
These honors recognize students who have made significant contributions to UNC Charlotte during their undergraduate careers and are given annually to graduating seniors who have shown outstanding qualities of scholarship and leadership.
It is important that the recipients have demonstrated an attitude of unselfish interest in the welfare of their fellow students and the University as a whole. The recipients may be students who are graduating in May, August or December 2019 with a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA, and the students must be in good disciplinary standing.
Faculty, staff or students should submit nomination(s) to the Dean of Students Office no later than 5 p.m., Friday, March 15.
Submit nominations to King Building, Room 217, or email them to Sharisse Stafford (sstaff19@uncc.edu).
Student applications are due no later than 11:45 p.m., Sunday, March 17. Students are not required to be nominated in order to apply. The awards will be presented at the Honors and Awards Program on Wednesday, April 24.
