UNC Charlotte will remain in Condition 2 (suspended operations) through 5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 16, with all weekend classes canceled.
Non-mandatory employees must avoid campus. Missed time must be accounted for. Mandatory employees should report as directed by their supervisors.
Football and Other Athletics
The Charlotte 49ers football game scheduled for Saturday has been moved to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13. More information is available on the Charlotte 49ers website and additional information on parking will be sent in a separate email.
Other games have been rescheduled or postponed.
UNC Charlotte Center City
The operational change to Condition 2 (suspended operations) also applies to UNC Charlotte Center City. Non-mandatory staff should not report. All classes through the weekend are canceled.
Available Services and Activities
The latest information on dining and other on-campus services is available online and will be updated throughout the week.
Police and Public Safety (PPS) and other emergency offices are always open, even when the University is closed. For emergencies, call 911 from a campus phone or 704-687-2200 from a cell phone. Individuals also can contact PPS via the LiveSafe App.
A decision for Monday (Sept. 17) operations and classes will be made by 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15.
