Each of the Charlotte 49ers eight Conference USA games as well as both of its non-conference home games will be broadcast by a C-USA partner during the 2018 football season. Additional broadcast exposures will be released when they are finalized.

All six of the 49ers home games as well as three C-USA road games will be available through ESPN3 or ESPN+. The 49ers’ final C-USA road game at Florida Atlantic on Nov. 24 will be broadcast by Stadium.

“Conference USA has established a strong partnership with ESPN to finalize its broadcast schedule so that all C-USA games will be accessible,” said 49ers Director of Athletics Mike Hill. “This expanded platform makes games available to Niner Nation throughout our immediate market but also throughout the world.”

Charlotte 49ers head football coach Brad Lambert said, “This is great package for our fans. With ESPN coming in to make all of our league games, home and away, available, our fans can catch us wherever we play.”

Charlotte’s schedule begins with consecutive non-conference home games vs. Fordham, Sept. 1, and Appalachian State, Sept. 8, on ESPN+ followed by the C-USA home opener vs. Old Dominion, Sept. 15, on ESPN3. All three kick off at 6 p.m.

Charlotte’s homecoming game on Oct. 13 vs. WKU at 3:30 p.m. will be available on ESPN+, and its 2 p.m. home games vs. Southern Miss, Oct. 27, and FIU, Nov. 17, will be carried through ESPN3.

The 49ers C-USA road games at UAB, Sept. 29, and at Middle Tennessee, Oct. 20, will be available on ESPN3, while the 49ers game at Marshall, Nov. 10, will be available on ESPN+. The final game of the regular-season at FAU on Nov. 24 will be carried by Stadium. That game time is TBA.

The recent agreement triples ESPN’s inventory of C-USA events to include more than 175 events on ESPN+ and ESPN3. In addition to the extensive football schedule, the network will air 60 regular-season men’s basketball contests and 28 regular-season women’s basketball contests and will serve as the primary home of multiple Conference USA championships.
