The Charlotte 49ers 2017 football home opener is just around the corner, and several upgrades and amenities have been added to improve the fan-going experience and atmosphere at Jerry Richardson Stadium. There will be new ticket options, the addition of a beer garden, new concession choices and several theme days.
To make entry to the stadium more efficient, 49ers’ season-ticket holders will have a dedicated line to use. Also, the 49ers will offer a mobile ticket option.
Niner Transit will operate a football game day shuttle with stops at Silver Lot 5, Red Lots 21/11, Black Lot 25, Hauser Alumni Pavilion and Jerry Richardson Stadium Gate 3. The shuttle will run a continuous loop beginning one hour prior to kickoff and ending 45 minutes after the game’s conclusion. Season tickets are available for as low as $100, and several theme days are planned. Click here for more ticket information.
For the first time, fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a Beer Garden. Located near the north end zone, the garden will be a secure location open to patrons 21 years or older. (Beverages must be consumed in the beer garden and will not be allowed outside the area.)
A new wall wrap is installed on the field-level wall, complete with the term “Rock Solid” emblazoned in the north end zone.
In addition, the concession stands will have several new offerings, including stuffed pretzels, kettle corn and one-liter Smartwater bottles.
