Charlotte 49ers defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi is among those invited to the 2017 NFL Draft Combine. He is the first Charlotte 49er football player to participate in this weeklong showcase. Defensive linemen will work out March 2-5.

NFL Media draft analyst Mike Mayock has pushed Ogunjobi to the fourth-ranked interior defensive lineman in his latest position rankings; while CBSSports.com ranks Ogunjobi as the eighth defensive tackle prospect.

Ogunjobi was the first player to be invited to the Reese's Senior Bowl and was the first 49er to be named to national watch lists, landing spots on the Bednarik Award (college's top defensive player) and the Outland Trophy (nation's top interior lineman) watch lists.

The NFL Scouting Combine is an opportunity for college football players to perform physical and mental tests in front of National Football League coaches, general managers and scouts.
