The Dean of Students Office is seeking nominations from faculty, staff and students for the Chancellor’s Citations for Leadership and Service and the Bonnie Cone Leadership, Noble Niner, Chuck Lynch and Derrick Griffith Servant Leader awards.
These awards recognize students who have made significant contributions to UNC Charlotte during their undergraduate careers and are given annually to graduating seniors who have shown outstanding qualities of scholarship and leadership. It is important that the recipients have demonstrated an attitude of unselfish interest in the welfare of their fellow students and the University as a whole. The recipients must be in good academic and disciplinary standing.
Submit nomination(s) to the Dean of Students Office, King Building, Room 217, by Friday, Feb. 24. Nominations can be submitted via email to Sharisse Stafford at sstaff19@uncc.edu.
Student applications are due by Sunday, March 19. Awards will be presented at the Honors and Awards Program on Monday, May 1.
Nominators should include the student’s name, address, phone number and email address on the submission. Students are not required to be nominated in order to apply for these awards.
