Faculty/staff participants sought for 'The March' panel discussion

The Multicultural Resource Center is seeking faculty or staff members who have personal stories related to the historic 1963 "March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom" to include in a program on Monday, Feb. 11, in the Student Union Movie Theater. 

"The March: Flim and Panel Discussion" will feature footage from the U.S. National Archive from 1963, followed by individuals' personal testimonials of the events.  The program is free and open to the public. Anyone who has a personal story related to "The March" and would be willing to share it at the panel discussion should contact Regena Brown at RegenaBrown@uncc.edu or 704-687-7123 by Feb. 7.
