Chancellor and SGA to hold open forum

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Chancellor Philip L. Dubois will lead a lunchtime conversation with students from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, in the Student Union rotunda.

According to Conor Dugan, president of the student body and international studies major, the event will be a loosely structured question-and-answer session. The chancellor will speak briefly about the state of the University, but the majority of the time will be devoted to students’ questions on topic of their choice.

“This event is really different, and we’re excited because the format is so open,” Dugan said. “One-on-one time with the Chancellor is hard to come by, and having the opportunity to ask him a direct question like this is a great thing for students. We want any and all students to attend, ask questions, and leave feeling better informed about the University and their community.”
