Nearly 7,000 UNC Charlotte alumni teach in North Carolina's public schools. To encourage these alums to display their 49er pride, the College of Education sent pennants to all UNC Charlotte alumni who teach in North Carolina public school classrooms. Alumna Jenny McCarthy, J. M. Robinson High School, submitted this photo for display on the College of Education's Facebook page. Amanda Macon, director of teacher education advising, licensure and recruitment, and teacher recruiter Bethany Myers initiated the outreach project.
