During his tenure at OAU, Aborisade served as chair of the Department of Public Administration, founding chair of the Department of Local Government Studies and dean of faculty administration. He is the author of “Public Administration in Nigeria,” “State and Local Government in Nigeria” and “The Discretionary Powers of Local Government.”

During the Oct. 22 symposium, University faculty and visiting speakers will deliver various presentations between 10:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  More information on the symposium is available on the Africana Studies Department website.
