Commercialization Knowledge Series to focus on resources for researchers

“Resources for University Researchers Considering Commercialization” is the topic of a seminar series scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 17, in the Bioinformatics Building, Room 217.

Organized by the Charlotte Research Institute, Office of Technology Transfer and Ventureprise, this seminar series will address commercialization of intellectual property developed by University-related research.

Devin Collins, assistant director, business and entrepreneurial development; Brad Fach, assistant director, technology transfer; and Paul Wetenhall, president of Ventureprise (formerly the Ben Craig Center); will lead the Oct. 17 discussion.

Attendees will learn about topics vital to commercial success; will connect with University and regional resources that understand and care about University commercialization; and will build relationships with entrepreneurs to expand the network of like-minded, growth-oriented business builders.
