The Charlotte New Music Festival, hosted by the Department of Music, will present the New York City-based chamber ensemble loadbang at 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 26, in the Rowe Arts Building.
Since its founding in 2008, the mixed ensemble of trumpet, trombone, bass clarinet and baritone voice has been praised as “cultivated” by The New Yorker, “exhilarating” by the Baltimore Sun, “inventive” by the New York Times, and a “formidable new-music force” by TimeOutNY.
