Deadline to submit nominations for Staff Council

The UNC Charlotte Staff Council is accepting nominations for the positions of chair, vice chair, communications officer and even-numbered area representatives and alternates. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, June 15.

Staff members can nominate a colleague or themselves. Any full-time or part-time employee of the University Subject to the State Human Resources Act (SHRA), any full-time or part-time employee of the University Exempt from the State Human Resources Act (EHRA) who does not hold faculty rank and those other employees for whom no provisions have been made are eligible to serve.

The Staff Council was established to create and provide a more harmonious working environment for the staff of UNC Charlotte; it was delegated by the chancellor with the authority and responsibility to bring to the attention of the administration matters of general staff concern and to take such actions as are necessary to enable it to meet those responsibilities.

Employees should have received an email from their area representatives with a link to a Google document to submit nominations.
