Graduation ceremonies are on the horizon, but what happens once the celebrations are over and real life begins?
Successful Niners will provide answers to that question at a Connect 49er event scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 14.
A panel of UNC Charlotte alumni will share stories of success after graduation and offer advice to help future graduates during “Navigating the Real World: Life After Graduation.”
The UNC Charlotte Alumni Association is sponsoring the event, which will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Cone University Center, McKnight Hall. The event is free, but registration is requested by Nov. 13.
The panelists are:
- Hannah Levinson, founder and managing director at Lahayim Cooperative
- Felice Hightower, therapist, life coach, wellness health expert and autism awareness advocate
- Gerald Brown, owner of Inner Compass Counseling, Coaching and Consulting PLLC
- Edward Gonzales, IT business analyst
- Robert Wright, teacher at Olympic High School
- Patrick Madsen, director of the UNC Charlotte University Career Center
The event will start with a networking and social period, followed by the panel discussion. Light refreshments will be served. Participants should wear business attire.
