UNC Charlotte will hold a formal ceremony to dedicate PORTAL on Friday, Feb. 28. PORTAL is an acronym for Partnership, Outreach and Research to Accelerate Learning. University officials describe it as a venue where entrepreneurs can collaborate with peers, faculty members and students—harnessing the power of a research university to plan strategies for success in a contemporary setting.
Inside UNC Charlotte will provide a live webcast of events, starting at 1:15 p.m., Feb. 28. Formal remarks are scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
