Parking Lot 15 to close temporarily

Parking Lot 15, located in front of the Burson Building, will be closed starting at 6 a.m., Saturday, March 4, through 6 p.m., Sunday, March 13, to install new mechanical equipment as part of building renovations.

Architecture alumna wins national award

Je'Nen Chastain, an alumna of the UNC Charlotte School of Architecture, has received a 2017 Associates Award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA). According to the AIA, the national award “is given to individual Associate AIA members to recognize outstanding leaders and creative thinkers for significant contributions to their communities and the architecture profession.”


Art professor’s animated film a festival favorite

CATS announces update in light rail service to campus

At a Charlotte City Council meeting on Monday, Feb. 27, Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) CEO John Lewis announced the LYNX Blue Line Extension, including service to the UNC Charlotte campus, will not open as expected in August 2017.

Charlotte 49ers football adds two coaches

Greg Adkins and Keith Henry have joined the Charlotte 49ers football program as offensive line coach and running backs coach, respectively.

Adkins spent the past two years as offensive line coach at Oklahoma State. He coached tight ends for the NFL's Buffalo Bills the previous two years.
