University to welcome largest freshmen class

UNC Charlotte will enroll the largest freshmen class in its history this fall. For the upcoming 2012-13 academic year, some 631 more students accepted admission offers than the University had initially expected.

ELTI to hold language testing for incoming teaching assistants

Sims to join UNC Charlotte as director of community affairs

Effective Tuesday, Aug. 21, Jeanette Sims will be director of community affairs in the Division of University Advancement.

Her primary responsibility will be to direct programs and initiatives in support of UNC Charlotte’s mission as it strives to address the cultural, economic, educational, environmental, health and social needs of the greater Charlotte region.
