Charlotte IMG Sports Marketing has struck a deal with the Princeton Media Group and 7 Communications to produce and distribute television broadcasts of three Charlotte 49ers home football games and at least three 49ers basketball games during the upcoming 2017-18 athletic season.

The games will be broadcast locally on WCCB Charlotte. Princeton Media Group will complete distribution schedules for each of the games. Conference USA television partners had claimed three of the 49ers home games, leaving three available for this distribution package.

WCCB Charlotte will air the 49ers home opener vs. North Carolina A&T, Sept. 16; the nonconference tilt vs. Georgia State, Sept. 23; and the first C-USA home game of the season vs. Marshall, Oct. 7.

The talent for these three games will feature 730 the Game ESPN Charlotte radio host Bobby Rosinski on play-by-play.  A pair of former Carolina Panthers: Al Wallace (Sept. 16) and Damione Lewis (Sept. 23; Oct. 7) will serve as analysts. UNC Charlotte alum and current Carolina Panthers Sports reporter Libby Weihsmann (Sept. 16; Sept. 23) and Stormy Buonantony (Oct. 7) will handle sideline duties.

C-USA television partners beIN (Oct. 21 vs. UAB), ESPN3 (Middle Tennessee, Nov. 11) and Stadium (Florida Atlantic, Nov. 25) will broadcast the other three 49ers home games.  The FAU game, it was announced, will be broadcast by Stadium on Facebook.
