Disability services honors employees for their commitment to accessibility

The Office of Disability Services recently presented its Accessibility Excellence Award for Outstanding Faculty/Staff to 11 individuals in recognition of their “strong commitment to accessibility and disability-related issues.”

The 2016-17 recipients of the award were Valerie Bright and Bryn Chancellor, English; Nishi Bryska biological sciences; Sejal Foxx, counseling; Linwood Kearney, accounting; Jonathan Perry, political science and public administration; Luke Reinke, reading and elementary education; Roger Suclupe, social work; Michael Walter, chemistry; Stan Wisdom, psychological science; and Robin Witt, theatre.

Award recipients were chosen through student nominations that detailed the faculty or staff member’s extraordinary commitment to accessibility.
