The website BestColleges.com has ranked UNC Charlotte fifth in the state for online colleges.
According to the website, UNC Charlotte “empowers its 28,700 students with an education that’s highly regarded by employers. Classrooms come to the student through online learning at UNC Charlotte in the disciplines of engineering, education, health and human services and teacher licensure.”
BestColleges used data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data Systems and College Navigator, hosted by the National Center for Education Statistics, to compile rankings with the goal “to objectively assess relative quality based on academic outcomes, affordability and the breadth and depth of online learning opportunities.”
