Autumn has arrived, so fall planting is underway. At the Botanical Gardens annual plant sale, attendees can learn how to plant like a professional.
This year’s sale will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Oct. 5-6. Hardy shrubs, perennials, wildflowers, ferns and cool weather annuals can be purchased, with all proceeds supporting McMillan Greenhouse operations. Experts will be on hand to answer questions about the plants that will work best in gardens.
