A memorial gathering in honor of Jordan Slusher, a University student who died this summer, will be at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, at Cone University Center, McKnight Hall.
James Tabor, chair of religious studies, will open the memorial; a number of students are expected to share their memories of Slusher, a religious studies major and honors student. The gathering will conclude with a walk to the Belk Tower where participants will light candles in remembrance.
