August air quality raffle winners named

Terri Fish, extended academic programs; Rebecca Hefti, College of Education; LaTonja Miller, financial data administration; Joanne Pippi, University Center for Academic Excellence; and Diane Rockwell; won weekly drawings of $5 gift cards for dining on campus in August on a Code Orange, Red or Purple Day. Carol Hartley, languages and culture studies, won the monthly gift card for filling up before 6 a.m. or after 6 p.m.

During the summer, the Environmental Assistance Office and IDEAS Center held Air Quality Summer Raffles to encourage faculty and staff members to help prevent unnecessary carbon dioxide and gas fumes from entering into the atmosphere on Air Quality Action Days.

“Thanks to all who participated in the IDEAS Center and EAO’s Air Quality Action Summer Raffles,” said Karyn Williamson-Coria. “They helped to improve Charlotte’s air quality this summer.”
