Cone and West decks blue light phones getting upgradeDate Published: May 2, 2017
The Risk Management, Safety and Security (RMSS) Department is leading an effort to ensure all campus blue light phones are upgraded to the same manufacturer and technology support. Blue light phones connect directly with the Police and Public Safety (PPS) Department dispatch and can be used to call for assistance or to report crimes in progress.
Friday Building staircase being repairedDate Published: May 2, 2017
The staircase leading up to the third floor of the Friday Building will be closed through Friday, June 30, for repairs.
Third-floor access via the two main staircases off the central lobby will be available; elevators will remain in operation.
During this work, building visitors can expect construction crews and loud noise.

He is transitioning from his position as vice chancellor to become a part-time faculty member in the Cato College of Education. He has been with the University for 10 years.
