The Department of Africana Studies is hosting a screening of a short film and trailer on the history of the department at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 23, in Storrs Building, Room 110.
The work was written and produced by Africana Studies students, under the direction of Calvin Brown Jr, this year’s Africana Artist-in-Residence. Brown is a noted TV writer and producer.
