The UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens will hold the workshop “Holiday Décor Using the Bounty of Nature” from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Dec. 6, in the McMillan Greenhouse.
Betsy Seymour, from the Davidson Garden Club, will be instructor for this event, which will show participants how to craft holiday decorations using natural materials. Using greenery and berries from the gardens, attendees will craft a mailbox topper that is suitable to hang on a front door. Participants also will take home a variety of greenery to create a second project.
Register online for this class, which is limited to 20 participants. The cost is $30 for members of the Stewards of the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens ($35 for nonmembers).
