Final day to view 'Study Abroad Photo Exhibit'

Event Date:
May 14, 2016 - 5:00 PM
Location:
Student Union Art Gallery

Students who participate in study abroad trips through the University could submit their photographs from overseas for the annual “Study Abroad Photo Exhibit.” Winners and honorable mentions in this competition will be displayed through Saturday, May 14, in the Student Union Art Gallery.

Photographs submitted by students will be judged in these categories: defining moment, landscape, portrait and self-portrait. The exhibit also will include entries in a non-judged category, traveling 49ers.

“We hope that those who visit the exhibit will have a better understanding of the world that our UNC Charlotte students are exposed to and the impact that the experience has had on the students personally, academically and professionally,” said Beth Lorenz, assistant director of international programs. “Through the visual stories of these students, we hope both the community and other UNC Charlotte students appreciate the impact of study abroad and for students to consider this adventure as well.”
